A Category 3 game is a game, other than bingo, the gross proceeds of which are more than $20 000. This type of game can only be conducted by an Incorporated eligible associations being, an association formed principally for a charitable, community, educational, patriotic, religious or sporting purpose. The incorporated eligible association must obtain a licence which is issued for 1 year. The application must be completed and lodged with the prescribed fee.

A special category 3 game is a game, other than bingo, the gross proceeds of which are more than $5,000. An applicant for a special category 3 gaming licence must be a person intending to conduct a single art union for the welfare or benefit of individuals who need help because of a disaster or a disadvantaged individual. A licence under this category is issued for 4 months.

A bingo centre means premises where 2 or more eligible associations conduct between or amongst them more than 25 bingo sessions each week. An applicant for a bingo centre licence must be an association incorporated under the Associations Incorporations Act 1981 and the ordinary members consist of individuals appointed by eligible associations intending to conduct bingo at the premises. The application form, attachments and prescribed fee must be submitted to this office

Lucky envelopes is a game in which a ticket is torn, opened or scratched, to reveal letters, numbers or symbols that may entitle a player to a prize or a ticket that is printed with a number letter or symbol that may entitle the player to a prize. A corporation must hold a lucky envelope printer's licence to print and sell the tickets to eligible associations intending to conduct lucky envelopes. An application must be competed and lodged with the prescribed fee at least 28 days before the applicant intends to print lucky envelopes under the licence.
