The Golden Casket Lottery Corporation Limited (Golden Casket) is an innovative gaming entertainment business operating as a corporatised government owned entity under the provisions of the Lotteries Act 1997. Golden Casket currently holds an exclusive licence and provides entertaining games of chance through operating Gold Lotto, Oz Lotto, Powerball, Instant Scratch-its, The Pools and Casket through a network of agencies across Queensland.
The Queensland Office of Gaming Regulation (QOGR):
- regulates lottery draws and games conducted by the Golden Casket.
- supervises Golden Casket's Wednesday Gold Lotto draw.
- verifies the turnover of other Golden Casket gambling products.
QOGR also ensures the security of Golden Casket's data relating to lotto games run in conjunction with other Australian jurisdictions.
